Daniel has practised in the field of Intellectual Property since 2018, working in the engineering, electronics and software sectors.
Before entering the patent profession, Daniel graduated from the University of York with an upper second class master’s degree in Physics. Following this, Daniel undertook a PhD in nanotechnology at the University of York. Daniel’s PhD project involved using electron microscopy to research oxide hetero-structures for power electronic and spintronic applications.
Daniel joined Secerna as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Electronics & ICT and Advanced Engineering groups in June 2018.
