Before entering the patent profession, Charlotte graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. She gained exposure to a range of medical science including genetics, microbiology and neuroscience and became particularly involved in the field of immunology.
Charlotte continued her studies at Newcastle University and graduated with a Distinction in MRes in Immunobiology. Charlotte’s MRes project entailed being a part of cutting-edge research, optimising tolerogenic dendritic cells for the development of a novel immunotherapeutic tool for the treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis. Charlotte has substantial experience in immunotherapy, advanced molecular biology and complex cellular signalling.
Charlotte joined Secerna as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Life Sciences group in July 2018.
