Oliver has practised in the field of intellectual property since 2016, working in the life sciences and bionanotechnology sectors.
Before entering the patent profession Oliver graduated from the University of Leeds with an undergraduate degree in Medical biochemistry. In his final year he worked on investigating anti-malarial drugs, before undertaking an interdisciplinary PhD. During his PhD Oliver investigated biological motors, DNA architectures as well as developing methods of studying samples on the nanoscale.
Oliver joined Secerna in June 2016 as a trainee patent attorney.
